What Is Your Metabolic Rate

October 22, 2003 03:55 PM

Breaking News - According to the American Heart Association there is more morbid obesity, (not to mention borderline obesity and marginally overweight individuals), than ever before in the history of the U.S., and it's still escalating!

It seems like the majority of people is losing the "battle of the bulge", whether just struggling to keep the weight down or seriously out of control. Plus you see many athletes "blimp out" when it's entirely unnecessary.

There is a primary reason why weight has become such an issue nowadays - a lack of metabolic awareness.

If you don't understand your personal metabolic rate first, then you can't possibly become your most energetic and healthiest, your leanest and most fit, nor control fat buildup for life.

Plus, there are certain diet-related diseases associated with each type of metabolism that you should be aware of in order to win "the battle of the bulge."
PERSONAL METABOLIC RATES

Your Personal Metabolic Rate, like fingerprints, sets you apart from others. We can precisely measure your metabolic rate so that we know exactly where your genes and biochemical makeup stand in relation to how well your body processes food (energy) throughout all its life-sustaining biochemical pathways.

This metabolic information helps us to understand your existing intracellular nutritional status and its influences from digestion, absorption, cellular utilization, excretion, and degrees of enzyme and glandular function.

Because we are each so unique, our own individual nutrient requirements vary dramatically from others, (even family members), due to the efficiency, (or speed and completeness), of how we individually process each nutrient and toxin in our food and supplements - some nutrients get rejected, others are processed quickly and effectively, while others are retained by the body in excessive proportions.

Subsequently, we each demonstrate distinctly different nutritional retention patterns that our mineral test interprets and
then nutritionally corrects with customized diet and quantum-factored supplements.

In fact, after measuring the exact nutrient balance of thousands of foods interspersed through the fifty major food families, we know precisely which foods and supplements are necessary to accelerate or rebalance metabolism back to its genetic optimum.

We retest metabolic rate to monitor this process for guaranteed success - and it will change your metabolism into a faster one if you follow the personalized program.

Our medically approved, clinically proven, scientifically engineered, completely customized food and supplement program will effect a faster, more "maximum metabolism" (or burning), of fat along with accelerated energy production and chemical conversion rates through all pathways. In other words a faster metabolism creates more energy, less fat and waste, less toxic accumulation - an overall healthier body!
8 METABOLISM TYPES - By Rate of Metabolism Classifications

SLOW METABOLISMS Type I-IV - approximately 80% of the American population, nowadays, are categorized as SLOW METABOLIZERS, a higher amount than any other country in the world! The U.S. is also number 1 in the world for diet-related disease which reflects our epidemic "state of slow metabolisms" characterized by more obesity and overweight syndromes, chronic fatigue syndrome, more osteoporosis, widespread diabetes, rampant heart disease, legal and illegal drug dependencies, unrelenting Alzheimer's-allergies-cancer and many more degenerative diseases - than any other country in the world.

Remember, we are all born as fast metabolizers, but thanks to genetically/metabolically mismatched and generally unhealthful eating and supplement habits combined with low quality lifestyles starting in childhood - we manage to turn them into dangerously (disease promoting, fat-fostering, genetically antagonistic), slow metabolisms. (And NO excuses - genetic/ metabolic/ nutrition research shows that statistically speaking - it's not your gene's fault as many would offer as an excuse for unhealthful states and premature aging).

You have more control over your own metabolism (and genes) than you think - if you only take the time to understand them, and then perfect them decisively.

SLOW METABOLISM TYPE I - Characteristics (Reminder - Manifestations of the emotional and physical characteristics of both fast and slow metabolizers depend on a number of factors including degree or severity of mineral aka trace element imbalances - including vitamins and amino acids), endocrine (hormone) activity, and the length of time imbalances have been present).

1- Parasympathetic Dominant nervous system, (a sluggish, energy-conserving autonomic nervous system).
2- Thyroid gland activity = slow (or decreased from ideal levels).
3- Parathyroid gland activity = fast (or increased which in turn increases calcium loss from bone).
4- Adrenal gland activity = decreased (or insufficient or less than ideal function).
5- Stomach acid = insufficient.
6- Pancreatic activity = increased enzyme production with increased hormone production.
7- Bodyshape consideration = usually pear-shaped sometimes *linear when lean. *Slow Type I - IV's, when underweight or lean, are usually linear.
8- Energy profile = constant fatigue.
9- Disease susceptibility - refer to "Disease Classification Process".
10- Toxic retention rate = VH or very high.
11- Stress Index = constant, low to high degrees.

10- Toxic retention rate = High (H)
11- Stress index = very acute stress reaction

FAST METABOLISMS

FAST METABOLISMS Type I-IV - There are a few factors which cause a person to become a fast metabolizer. The majority of children inherit their respective mineral retention patterns from their parents both genetically and environmentally. With few exceptions almost every child is born with a fast metabolic rate.

A fast metabolism is nature's way of ensuring that every child has the metabolic resources for a quick and constant growth rate. From the environmental standpoint, a family's eating habits can either reinforce a fast rate, or, slow it down considerably.

In effect, a family's eating habits can "cement in" their offspring's biochemistry, as fast or slow, on a highly permanent basis. A faster metabolism is generally better to possess for fat and health control - when balanced, but an unsynchronized over-fast metabolism can be very dangerous especially when exposed to prolonged stress.

Unfortunately, even though slow metabolisms invite many diseases, imbalanced Fast Metabolisms are especially prone to cardiovascular disease, peptic ulcers, histamine-related allergies, some types of arthritis, and diabetes.

Fast Metabolic Types can usually "eat more and gain less" than "Slows", but they can still pack on excess fat, mostly around the abdominal region, if they constantly overeat. In time they usually end up with an apple shaped physique when they persist in imbalanced eating practices.

NOTE: No matter which Type you are determined to be, it's most beneficial to bring all minerals and their ratios into balance over time. When this occurs you will end up either as a fast Slow I or a balanced Fast I, which are classified as the most healthful, age-resistant, sustained high energy and fat-free Metabolic Types.
